Pack Hunters
Gnolls are not terribly bright but they do work together well in a pack. Often coordinating their attacks and tactics to confuse and then overwhelm their enemies. This tends to break down once a few are killed and the feeding begins. Once they start to feed on their enemies the pack cohesion breaks down as each one begins to look out just for themselves.

Gnolls often save a couple humanoid type creatures in a battle so they can make them slaves. These slaves also serve as the gnolls backup food supply if spoils from raids are low.

These can also represent tough hide, sharp teeth, and other natural strengths of a NPC animal or monster. If you want to equip the NPC with specific gear you can, but they are not needed. Character Items should be equivalent to these to keep this character balanced. If many items with bonuses are added consider removing Auto Assigned Bonuses from the NPC. This can be done in Edit Level > Base NPC.

Gnoll Gnawer's are the standard gnolls in a gnoll pack. Gnolls are hyena-head monsters that walk upright like humans. Their fur can range widely in color and patterns but usually all point to a single pack. Gnolls are evil and aggressive creatures that live in packs. They tend to lair underground. Their lair is usually what they find or take over. They despise the thought work, or working to build their own lair. They often have slaves to do any manual labor in the lair.
