Helm of Lord Dune the Dragon Slayer
This heavy helm wraps around Dunes head ending in long swoops of steel near his shoulders. Forged to match his plate armor this helm is of a dark metal rimmed with gold. Intricate etchings follow along the gold rims pulling the gold into fading patterns near the center of the helm plates. Along the top of the helm is ridge raised almost like a crown set with many gems from the horde of Thorak Zul. A thin white plum sticks out of the very top of the helm with a slight rearward lean. This plume seems to accentuate Dunes size, speed, and voracity in battle as it whips about with his movements. The face of the helm is closed with two dark gems inset as eyes. The front is worked to resemble Dune’s face in a nearly neutral way. It seems, though most pass it off as a trick of the mind, that the face shows a hint of a smile when Dune is happy, and a hint of a grimace when he is angered.
