- Wrath of the GM
- This beast only seems to materialize whenever the GM has to clean up after messy players that won't clean up after themselves. It is a sure fire way to summon this deadly creature!
- Protection from Destruction
- The most intelligent and wise of RPG players knows the secret to keeping this deadly creature from appearing on the table. The secret... to clean up after themselves.
- Bounty of the Fallen
- When there are players at the table that do clean up after themselves they reap the bounty of the appearance of this creature. It seems to ignore those thoughtful players and instead focus all of their fury on those that caused the mess. Often times the creature leaves behind the treasure of the slain to those that maintained respect of the game room.
- Dispel the Horror
- Quick thinking players may be able to dispel the horror that is about to unfold using ancient and forgotten chants. These chants of "Imso rri aeyma slob" and "Noe doent aeyll gethaat" can have some effect on slowing the creature down. Combining the chants with the sacred ritual of "straeee ten ahp" can appease the beast in some situations causing it to return back to where it came without too much harm to the PCs.
- Sacrifices to the Slumbering
- Any thorough good PRG player will take the time to make the Sacrifice to the Slumbering. This often entails paying for the GMs share of the pizza, offering them one of your beers, or even sharing your coveted snacks. These are all great techniques to appease the slumbering beast within the GM and to thank them for all of the extra work they do so you can play RPGs.
